A new initiative, “Leaving Your Signature” is now on display at a new exhibition created by the Autographers Project which is now in Zefat. The goal of the project is to connect the community to the unique history of Zefat and its residents. Stories such as those of an intelligence officer captured in Syria during the Yom Kippur War, the woman behind the Hungarian Museum, a World War II fighter and one of the first midwives at a hospital in Zefat are highlighted.
The exhibition is the culmination of a 4-month Autographers documentary journey which is facilitated by the Zefat Municipality, the Zefat Municipality's Social Services Department and the Lottery.
Veterans, artists and other Zefat residents were invited to document their stories from their personal point of view.
The stories can be seen here: http://autographers.urwp.link/zefet/
